Rich Walters was born and bred on the East Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal where he was exposed to the African wilds and Durban beachfront surf at a young age. The Walters family has a passion for nature and exploring the country side, so love for the outdoors was ingrained in his upbringing. After studying in Pretoria for Game Reserve Management, he became a trained Field Guide in one of South Africa's largest, exclusive National parks, Madikwe Game Reserve. Rich's love for sharing his passions lead him to a surf shop where he helped manage the shop, ran the kids surf camps and private surf lessons. Rich's popularity with guests brought many returning smiling faces. During all of his travels he has surfed Domincian Republic, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico and Indonesia. But his love for South Africa's wild life and nature brought him back to his favorite place to be. Now he looks forward to sharing those adventure experiences with you.
