The North Coast Itinerary is the perfect surf trip, there is no mystery why it's our most popular route. Who doesn't love 'no wetsuits' and warm weather year round?

The North Coast surf trip begins in the city of Durban, quickly touring South Africa's very own super star, Jordy Smiths favorite hometown beach. Umzumbe Surf Camp is the perfect place to acclimatize from your flight and ease into South Africa's way of life. After a few days of surf, we move North to surf warm water in tropical, uncrowded, hard to find areas. We get up close and personal with South Africa's largest wild animals. And we cross the border to surf the pristine beaches of Mozambique. This is by far our favorite trip and our #1 most popular trip.

How Does it work? 

First we chat to discuss what type of trip you would like to experience, what types of things you'd like to do and when you would like to travel. 

 

After we recieve your travel dates, we then send you a quote. If the itinerary and quote suits your travel desires and budget, we book you in! We require a 50% deposit to get started. You sit back and carry on with your life and we book the entire trip for you.

We create an itinerary, book our guides and vehicles, book the lodging, meals, activities, ect. All you need to do is book your flight, pack your bags and we'll see you at the airport. It's that simple.

At the airport we greet you with a luxury 4x4 SUV, beverages and snacks for the car ride. We take you to your first lodge to settle in. If you are keen for wave, we are always happy to hit the water as soon as possible!

The North Coast Itinerary:

Day 1 : Arrive in Durban City / Check in to Umzumbe Surf House 

Day 2 : Surf & Explore on Umzumbe Beach

Day 3: Tour some other local or Durban Surf Spots

Day 4: Surf, Hike, Relax or get active in Umzumbe

Day 5: Check into Sodwana Bay Camp

Day 6: Surfing Boat Charter in Sodwana Bay

Day 7: Morning Surf, then drive to Safari

Day 8: Lay Day / Morning & Afternoon Safari Drive

Day 9: Drive to Mozambique

Day 10: Surf & Explore in Ponta De Ouro's Beach Town

Day 11: Surf, Shop or simply relax in Ponta De Ouro

Day 12: Drive back to Durban / Transfer to Airport
